Grilled Turkey Breasts

This is my husband’s recipe for grilled turkey breasts. These are pretty easy to prepare, although they do take some time to grill. These are great served with roasted or steamed vegetables, or as a topping for salad. We use a charcoal grill, so cooking time may vary based on the grill and temperature. 

Ingredients

  • 2 turkey breasts

  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • ½ tablespoon dried rosemary

  • ½ tablespoon dried sage

  • ½ tablespoon red pepper flakes

  • ½ teaspoon dried mint

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix the lemon juice, oil, garlic, spices and herbs together to make the marinade.

  • Coat the turkey breasts in marinade and leave in the refrigerator overnight in a sealed container or bag to marinate.

  • To prepare the turkey, grill for about one hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
