Spinach Watermelon Smoothie

This refreshing combination of spinach and watermelon is a great summer smoothie. I first learned about green smoothies from my friend’s mom who made us green smoothies every morning while I was visiting for a week. This recipe takes very little time to prepare and keeps well in the refrigerator for one day. Just shake or stir and serve cold. For an additional antioxidant boost, add some greens powder.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups baby spinach

  • 2 cups chopped watermelon

  • ½ - ¾ cups water

Instructions

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
