





Turkish Breakfast
This is a traditional Turkish breakfast except that this version doesn’t include bread. This balanced breakfast includes two servings of vegetables and plenty of protein to start your day strong. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals, including B vitamins. The ingredient amounts are very specific because they were used to determine nutrition information.
Ingredients

2 Turkish hard-boiled eggs (link to recipe)

7 Olives

2 small tomatoes or 1 medium tomato, sliced

2-inch piece of cucumber, quartered

¼ bell pepper or other sweet pepper, sliced

1-inch piece of sucuk (spicy beef sausage), thinly sliced

1 ounce white cheese (Often labeled in the U.S. as Bulgarian feta cheese. Turkish varieties are called beyaz peynir.)
Instructions

Prepare the Turkish hard-boiled eggs.

While eggs are boiling, cook sliced sucuk in a skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
