Yogurt-Pepper Chicken Marinade
This marinade is a Turkish recipe that I learned from a friend’s mother. The ingredients listed are enough for marinating one pound of chicken. This is a great way to prepare chicken for sautéing or grilling. The chicken tastes best after allowing it to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
Ingredients

4 tablespoons plain yogurt (low-fat or full-fat)

2 teaspoons pepper paste

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes
Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together.

Coat one pound of chicken in marinade.

Leave in refrigerator overnight and let marinate.
